What is a Medication Aide?
A Medication Aide is someone who works in a long term care facility or assisted living facility and assists the nurse in passing routine medications. *This allows the nurse to spend more time coordinating important patient care.*
What does the Medication Aide course consist of?
This is a four-week long course with 80 hours of lab and lecture and then 40 hours of supervised clinical. The course cost includes your testing fee and books.
